From funding training days and extra qualifications to PhD’s, we know that investing in our staff is fundamental to improving cancer services, retaining staff, and delivering great patient care.
One of our favourite projects this year has been working with Huma, Senior Health Play Specialist, to improve the children’s bell ringing ceremony. She tells us about the significance of this celebration, and how our funding has helped.

Thanks to a donation of beautiful 'super scarves' from Scamp and Dude, we're able to give patients being treated for cancer a much-deserved gift. Their Superhero Sleep Buddies bring comfort to children who are having general anaesthetic for their radiotherapy treatment.
Recently we accepted an incredible donation of over 300 books, from the family of Michael Powis. Ben, his son, tells us about the donation.
